In exciting news, Pepsi has launched their Recycling Rethink initiative, which gives you the opportunity to earn a share of $100,000 by recycling your Pepsi bottles and cans* with Return and Earn.
From now until 22 November 2025, whenever you recycle a Pepsi container at any Return and Earn machine in NSW, you could earn extra on top of your 10c refunds.

- $10,000 (3 chances)
- $50,000 (1 chance)
Susan Press, PepsiCo Marketing Director Beverages ANZ says, “Many of us know Return and Earn—but what if we looked at the ‘earn’ part a little differently? With our Recycling Rethink initiative, we’re encouraging people to see the value in recycling Pepsi products—and hopefully, inspire even more people to get involved in recycling eligible drink containers in NSW.”
Danielle Smalley, CEO, Exchange for Change, the scheme coordinator for Return and Earn says, “We’re excited to support Pepsi on this initiative. It’s a great way to encourage people to recycle more eligible drink containers, starting with their Pepsi bottles and cans. Every container returned helps us reduce waste and make a real difference to the environment while earning along the way.”
So add those empty Pepsi bottles and cans to your container collection and head to a machine to recycle them before 22 November 2025 for your chance to earn a share.
